Qualifications

• Ordination or Commission to function in pastoral care.
• 5 years of pastoral experience preferred (2 in a clinical setting).
• 1 unit (400 hours) of CPE accreditation or more preferred.
• Equivalencies to CPE recognized via certs or advanced degrees.
• Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.
• Commitment to professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral care interventions and pastoral counseling as determined by assessment.
• Address spiritual needs of patients, families, caregivers and staff.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support care goals.
• Demonstrate authentic demeanor, compassion and skilled handling of illness, loss and death dynamics.
