Job summary

Your Health in Brunswick, GA is seeking a Chaplain to serve palliative/hospice patients in the Brunswick area. The role provides spiritual and emotional support to patients and families across homes and assisted living facilities, with a focus on compassionate presence and meaning-making.

The Chaplain will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, participate in meetings, and help educate the community on end-of-life spiritual care.

Qualifications

• MDiv or equivalent theology degree from an accredited institution.
• Ordination or endorsement from a recognized religious organization.
• Experience providing spiritual care in healthcare, hospice or palliative care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct spiritual assessments to understand beliefs and needs of patients.
• Provide spiritual counseling and support to patients and families.
• Collaborate with the hospice team to integrate spiritual care into care plans.
• Support outreach with local faith communities and provide bereavement resources.
