Job summary

Agape Care Group in Virginia seeks a compassionate Spiritual Care Coordinator (part-time 24 hours) to provide spiritual support that honors patients' beliefs and values. You will guide families with dignity, coordinating chaplaincy services and collaborating with leadership to ensure quality care.

The role requires a heart to serve, a Bachelor’s degree in counseling or theology, 2+ years in healthcare or hospice, and readiness to lift 25 lbs and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in counseling, theology, divinity, or related field. Completion of one unit of clinical pastoral education or minister services preferred
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in a health care or hospice setting required. Experience in family counseling regarding issues of loss, grief, death and dying
• Required: Reliable transportation. Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 25 lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively
