Job summary

Lake Valley Hospice in the Twin Cities metro area is seeking a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on a PRN basis. You will provide personal care and emotional support to patients under RN supervision, delivering compassionate, patient-centered end-of-life care.

Flexible shifts during business hours (8 AM–5 PM) with competitive hourly pay. Join a supportive interdisciplinary team and help improve quality of life for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor? not applicable
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with completed training is expected.
• Minimum of two years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care including bathing, grooming, toileting, transferring.
• Follow individualized care plans to ensure patient comfort and dignity.
• Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.

Position Details

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Lake Valley Hospice, you will provide personal care and emotional support to patients and families under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care, including bathing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and homemaking.
• Follow individualized care plans to ensure patient comfort and dignity.
• Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and caregivers.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Licensure: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with completed training.
• Experience: Minimum of two years preferred.
• Skills: Compassion, flexibility, and the ability to work independently.
• Additional Requirements: Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
