Job summary

Everwind Hospice is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide essential personal care to patients in home or facility settings in Wyoming. Working under a registered nurse, you will support comfort, dignity, and quality of life at end of life.

Key duties include assisting with daily activities, offering emotional support to patients and families, and documenting care per agency guidelines. A Wyoming CNA certification and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Active Wyoming CNA certification required.
• Minimum 1 year CNA/hospice/palliative care experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with empathy and respect for patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding).
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients and families.
• Monitor and report changes in patients’ condition to the hospice team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment.
• Document care provided according to agency procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Support the hospice philosophy of care, focusing on comfort.

• Support the hospice philosophy of care, focusing on comfort
