Job summary

Three Oaks Hospice is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our hospice care team in Texas. The primary function is to provide personal healthcare and related services to patients in their home, under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Qualifications include state nurse aide training, a current CNA license, a valid driver's license with reliable transportation, and at least one year of hospice or nursing assistant experience; high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Has successfully completed Nurse aide training/competency program approved by the state and listed in good standing on the state nurse aide registry.
• Must have current CNA license.
• Must have current driver’s license.
• At least one year experience, preferred, as a Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant in a hospital, nursing home, home health agency, hospice, or long-term care facility.
• Reliable transportation and auto liability insurance.

• Primary function is to provide personal healthcare and related services to the patient in their place of residence; to assist in providing a safe and clean environment, work cooperatively with patient and family and share observations and problems with the supervisor. Works under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
