Qualifications

  • Completion of a certified CNA or Hospice Aide training program.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in hospice, long-term care, or home health.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Hospice CNA | Full-Time

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Territory Coverage: Kalamazoo → Battle Creek

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be on the front lines of comfort and care, offering hands-on support and emotional presence to patients and families. Your work ensures that patients can spend their final days at home, surrounded by peace and familiarity.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, mobility support, toileting, etc.)
  • Perform light clinical tasks: monitor vital signs, catheter care, assist with wound dressing
  • Recognize and report changes in patient condition to the care team
  • Travel within your assigned region to visit patients in their homes
  • Build trust and provide emotional support to patients and families
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow safety/infection control protocols

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Completion of a certified CNA or Hospice Aide training program
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in hospice, long-term care, or home health
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to travel throughout the territory (approx. 50%)
