Qualifications

Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Territory: Kalamazoo to Three Rivers to East Leroy

What You’ll Do:
  • Deliver direct care to hospice patients in their homes, supporting their comfort and dignity under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

  • Assist with daily living activities, hygiene, mobility, and vital sign monitoring.

  • Provide specialized care such as catheter and ostomy support, dressing changes, and equipment use.

  • Observe and report changes in patient conditions and follow the established care plan.

  • Serve as a compassionate presence to patients and a supportive resource to families.

  • Promote safety and adhere to Elara Caring’s high standards for infection control, HIPAA, and professionalism.

  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance your skills and stay compliant.

What You’ll Need:
  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Completion of a state-recognized Hospice Aide or CNA training program

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a CNA or Hospice Aide

  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance

  • Willingness to travel (approx. 50%) across our growing service area
