Job summary

Elevation Hospice of Colorado is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our hospice care team. The role focuses on delivering personal healthcare and support to patients in their homes within Parker, Castlerock, and South Aurora areas.

Qualified candidates will have a CNA license, Nurse Aide training, and at least one year of hospice or nursing assistant experience. A current driver’s license is required, with high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Has successfully completed Nurse aide training/competency program approved by the state.
• Must have CNA license.
• Must have current driver’s license.
• At least one year experience, preferred, as a Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant in a hospital, nursing home, home health agency, hospice, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal healthcare and related services to patients in their place of residence.
• Assist in providing a safe and clean environment; cooperate with patient and family.
• Report observations and problems to supervisor (RN).

We are looking for a passionate Certified Nursing Assistant CNA to join our leading team of hospice care professionals and make a difference, by listening, caring, and serving.

POSITION SUMMARY: Primary function is to provide personal healthcare and related services to the patient in their place of residence; to assist in providing a safe and clean environment, work cooperatively with patient and family and share observations and problems with the supervisor. Works under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma Preferred
• Has successfully completed Nurse aide training/competency program approved by the state and listed in good standing on the state nurse aide registry; or State Licensure program that meets requirements
• Must have CNA license
• Must have current driver’s
• At least one year experience, preferred, as a Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant in a hospital, nursing home, home health agency, hospice, or long-term care facility.
• Reliable transportation. Valid and current auto liability insurance.
