Job summary

Agape Hospice Care in Georgia is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team of hospice professionals. The CNA will provide personal healthcare and related services to patients in their homes, ensuring a safe and clean environment while collaborating with patients, families, and the supervising RN.

Required qualifications include a CNA license, nurse aide training/competency, and a current driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Completed nurse aide training/competency program approved by the state and listed in good standing on the state nurse aide registry; or State Licensure program that meets requirements.
• Must have CNA license.
• Must have current driver’s license.
• At least one year experience, preferred, as a Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant in a hospital, nursing home, home health agency, hospice, or long-term care facility.
• Reliable transportation. Valid and current auto liability insurance.

• Primary function is to provide personal healthcare and related services to the patient in their place of residence; to assist in providing a safe and clean environment, work cooperatively with patient and family and share observations and problems with the supervisor. Works under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
