Job summary

Mission Healthcare in North County San Diego is hiring a Home Health Aide to provide compassionate in-home care to patients. You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, and support medication self-administration as outlined in care plans.

Pay range (depending on experience): $23.00-$27.00 hourly

Schedule/Shift

Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Territory/Location

North County San Diego, CA

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care including: baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos, changing bed linen
• Assisting patients with dressing and undressing
• Skin care to prevent breakdown
• Assisting the patient with toileting activities
• Keeping patient’s living area clean and orderly, as appropriate
• Assisting patient in the self-administration of medication.
• Adhering to the Organization's documentation and care procedures and standards of personal and professional conduct.
• Must meet position productivity expectations as determined based on business need.

Qualifications

• Valid state Home Health Aide & Nursing Assistant Certifications (CHHA & CNA).
• Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
• Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and the impaired.
• Current BLS & CPR certification.
• Demonstrates tact, patience and good personal hygiene.
• Valid Drivers License and Auto Insurance.
