Job summary

Mission Healthcare in St. George, Utah is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part-time role. You will provide personal care, assist with daily activities, and help maintain a safe, clean living environment for patients receiving home health and hospice services.

The position requires CNA certification, ability to read and follow care plans, and a patient-focused approach. Relocation assistance and healthcare benefits are included for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Valid state CNA certification required.
• Meets state and federal training requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to read and follow written instructions.
• Self-directed with minimal supervision.
• Empathy for patients' needs; CPR certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos, and changing bed linen.
• Assist patients with dressing and toileting activities.
• Perform skin care routines to prevent breakdown.
• Maintain a clean and orderly living area as appropriate.
• Assist with self-administration of medications per plan and instructions.
• Follow organizational documentation and care procedures; uphold professional conduct.
• Meet productivity expectations based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care including: baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos, changing bed linen
• Assisting patients with dressing and undressing
• Skin care to prevent breakdown
• Assisting the patient with toileting activities
• Keeping patient’s living area clean and orderly, as appropriate
• Assisting patient in the self-administration of medication.
• Adhering to the Organization's documentation and care procedures and standards of personal and professional conduct.
• Must meet position productivity expectations as determined based on business need.

Qualifications

• Valid state Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA).
• Meets the training requirements in accordance with State and Federal laws.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given.
• Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
• Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and the impaired.
• Possess and maintains current CPR certification.
• Demonstrates tact, patience and good personal hygiene.
• Valid Drivers License and Auto Insurance.
