Job summary

Gentiva is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to educate healthcare partners and drive referral growth. You will cultivate relationships with hospitals, home health agencies, skilled nursing facilities, clinics, and physician offices, promoting hospice options and the value of early referrals.

You will work with clinical and operational teams to align strategies, demonstrate empathy, and ensure patients receive timely, appropriate referrals, while representing Gentiva in community engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years in healthcare sales, business development, or referral marketing.
• Strong existing relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities or home health professionals.
• Prior experience in hospice, palliative care, or home health is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Educate and inspire confidence in our services to ensure proper referrals.
• Identify new referral opportunities by calling on hospitals, home health agencies, SNFs, assisted living communities, clinics, and physician offices.
• Engage healthcare professionals in conversations about patient needs and hospice benefits.
• Plan and execute strategic marketing initiatives to drive referral growth.
• Represent Gentiva at community events and professional associations to promote services.
• Serve as a resource for patients and families, clarifying hospice options and benefits of early referrals.
