Job summary

Gentiva Hospice is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to lead strategic engagement with referral partners in the healthcare community. You will educate, identify opportunities, and advocate for patients, building trusted relationships with hospitals, SNFs, clinics, and physician offices.

The role emphasizes strong communication, presentation, and CRM proficiency, with a focus on driving early referrals and improving quality of life for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years in healthcare sales, business development, or referral marketing.
• Strong existing relationships with physicians, hospitals, SNFs, and home health professionals.
• Prior hospice, palliative care, or home health experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and time-management skills.
• CRM platforms and Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Educate, inform, and inspire confidence in our services to ensure proper patient referrals.
• Identify new referral opportunities by calling on hospitals, home health agencies, SNFs, and clinics.
• Engage healthcare professionals in conversations about patient needs and hospice options.
• Plan and execute strategic marketing initiatives to increase awareness and referrals.
• Represent Gentiva Hospice at community events and professional associations.
• Serve as a resource and advocate for patients and families.
