Job summary

Gentiva is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to champion our mission and build lasting relationships with referral partners in the healthcare community. You will educate providers, identify referral opportunities, and discuss patient needs and hospice options to support quality of life.

As a brand ambassador, you will plan marketing initiatives, represent Gentiva at events, and serve as a trusted resource for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing or communications.
• Minimum 2 years in healthcare sales, business development or referral marketing.
• Strong existing relationships with physicians, hospitals or home health professionals.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Educate, inform, and inspire confidence in our services to ensure timely patient referrals.
• Identify new referral opportunities by calling on hospitals, home health agencies, SNFs, and clinics.
• Engage in meaningful conversations with healthcare professionals about patient needs and hospice options.
• Plan and execute strategic marketing initiatives to increase awareness and drive referrals.
• Represent Gentiva at community events, associations, and educational in-services.
• Serve as a resource for patients and families, explaining hospice options and benefits.
