Job summary

Gentiva is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant tochampion our mission by developing strong referral partner relationships within the healthcare community. As a brand ambassador, you will educate professionals about hospice options, identify new referral opportunities across hospitals, SNFs, and clinics, and engage in strategic marketing to increase awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years in healthcare sales, business development, or referral marketing.
• Strong existing relationships with physicians, hospitals, SNFs or home health professionals.
• Prior hospice, palliative care, or home health experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
• Sensitivity to the needs of terminally ill patients and their families.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding admissions and census targets.

Responsibilities

• Educate, inform, and inspire confidence in our services to promote right referrals.
• Identify new referral opportunities by contacting hospitals, home health agencies, SNFs, and clinics.
• Engage in meaningful conversations with healthcare professionals about patient needs and hospice options.
• Plan and execute strategic marketing initiatives to increase awareness and drive referral growth.
• Represent Gentiva at community events, associations, and educational in-services.
