Anthem Hospice Care is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to expand our footprint in the Phoenix Metro area. You will grow referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to increase hospice referrals.

You will develop partnerships, connect patients and families with compassionate end-of-life care, and represent the agency to improve referrals.

Responsibilities

• Functions as the primary marketing contact for referring accounts.
• Interfaces with clinicians and support staff to align needs of referral sources.
• Develops a marketing plan with measurable goals and objectives.
• Conducts personal visits to referral sources on a daily basis.
• Identifies issues and communicates them back to the administrator.

At Anthem Hospice, we are committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered end-of-life care while supporting families through every step of the hospice journey. We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Hospice Care Consultant to help grow our presence throughout the Phoenix Metro area.

This is an opportunity for a TOP proven healthcare sales professional who knows the Phoenix market, thrives on building strong referral relationships, and has a track record of generating hospice or healthcare referrals. You’ll develop and strengthen partnerships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, case managers, social workers, and other healthcare professionals while helping connect patients and families with the compassionate care they deserve.

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Health Care Advisor will support the agency by representing and promoting services and programs to increase referrals from existing referral sources, and secure new business from current low volume and non-referring sources.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Functions as the primary marketing contact for referring accounts.

IMPORTANT CHARACTERISTICS

• Health Care Advisor must have an outgoing personality as well as the ability to listen and understand what the client is truly saying. He/She should have great attention to detail as well as excellent organization and follow up skills. Healthcare Advisors need to be problem-solvers and be able to facilitate solutions, calling upon resources within the agency.

MEASURABLE GOALS

• Number of daily visits to referral sources
• Weekly marketing meetings to discuss activity
• Development of quarterly marketing plan

REPORTING

The Healthcare Advisor will aid in developing, analysing, and disseminating reports related to referral activity. Some examples of tracking reports include:

• Monthly referrals by referral source
• Monthly new account development
• Monthly total visits
• Monthly referrals to Centrix programs
