Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license in the State of Michigan.
• Hospice experience or end-of-life care preferred.
• Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to lift/move patients and work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Completes an ongoing comprehensive assessment of patient and family to determine hospice needs
• Provides quality, professional nursing care to patients in end-of-life care
• Initiates the patient’s plan of care with patient and family
• Administrates and documents medications as prescribed
