Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a registered nurse to provide nursing care for hospice and/or palliative care at home patients. The position reports to the hospice/palliative care at home manager and may assume managerial responsibilities in their absence.

The ideal candidate will have Michigan RN licensure, be able to deliver compassionate care, and work in a dynamic team dedicated to improving quality of life for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Michigan licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Hospice and/or palliative care at home certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pain and symptom management for hospice/palliative care at home patients and families.
• Interpersonal skills to present a positive image of hospice and palliative care at home.
• Flexibility to adapt policies and procedures to patient needs.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to hospice and/or palliative care at home patients under supervision.
• Assumes managerial responsibilities in the absence of the hospice/palliative care at home manager.
