Job summary

Villa Marie Claire Hospice is seeking a compassionate Residential Care Associate to assist residents with daily activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will help with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and comfort, ensuring dignity and comfort for patients in a home-like hospice setting.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1-3 years in a residential/long-term care setting, and preferred CNA/CHHA/HeartSaver certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years experience in providing personal care in a residential or long term care setting preferred.
• CNA or CHHA or HeartSaver certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Aid with mobility and safe transfers using appropriate equipment.
• Support patients with nutrition and hydration, monitor intake.
• Maintain clean and safe patient environments; sanitize equipment.
• Provide comfort, emotional support, and responsive care to patients.
• Document care provided and report changes to RN and team.
