Amedisys, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Hospice Business Office Specialist II to support billing, collections, and administrative processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely reimbursement. This role involves collaboration with internal teams to optimize revenue cycle operations from its Knoxville location.

You will maintain patient accounts, address discrepancies, and contribute to ongoing process improvements while adhering to regulatory standards.

Competenze

Solid organizational, analytical and communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office or similar documentation/reporting tools.
1+ years of experience in relevant healthcare billing/revenue cycle operations.

Mansioni

Process billing, collections, and reimbursement activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payor requirements.
Review and maintain patient account information, resolving discrepancies and supporting timely claim processing.
Communicate with internal teams, payors, and stakeholders to address account issues and support revenue cycle activities.
Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Support business office processes through reporting, workflow management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
