Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Completed High School or GED.
• Current CNA certification in the State of LOCATION.
• Minimum six months' work experience in direct care.
• CPR certified.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance with mobility transferring walking grooming bathing dressing or undressing eating and toileting.
• Assists with the safe use of a walker or wheelchair as taught and supervised by the nurse or physical therapist for a specific patient.
• Promotes personal safety and a safe environment for clients by observing infection control practices following our guidelines and reporting unsafe situations to your supervisor.
• Reports any change in the patient's mental or physical condition or home situation to the Registered Nurse and members of the interdisciplinary team.
