Job summary

HopeHealth, Inc. seeks an experienced Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate personal care for patients in their homes and in long-term care facilities across Massachusetts, including the Attleboro area.

This full-time role operates 8:00 am–4:30 pm, includes a comprehensive benefits package, and places you on an interdisciplinary hospice team. You will follow the plan of care, observe and report patient status, support families, and uphold dignity, confidentiality,

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Aide certification.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of experience in home care and long-term care settings required.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care and light housekeeping duties
• Observe, report, and document patient status and the care provided
• Provide compassionate support to patients, families and caregivers through on-going communication
• Follow basic infection control procedures
• Report basic elements of body functioning, recognize and report changes in patient's status to RN Case Manager
• Recognize emergencies and has the knowledge of emergency procedures and their application
• Maintain patient and family confidentiality

About This Position Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

HopeHealth is seeking an experienced hospice aide to care for patients in their homes and in long-term care facilities in various territories in Massachusetts including in the Attleboro area and surrounding communities.

The hospice aide provides personal care and light housekeeping duties as directed by the plan of care. In this very special position, you will get to spend quality time with your patients providing them with the compassionate care they need. At HopeHealth hospice aides are a beloved member of the interdisciplinary hospice team.

The duties of a hospice aide are planned and assigned by a professional nurse to meet the patient and family situation.

This is a full time position with the hours of 8am-4:30pm and is eligible for benefits.
