Job summary

HopeHealth is seeking a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to care for patients in their homes and in long-term care facilities across Massachusetts, including Attleboro. The role involves personal care, light housekeeping, and close collaboration with the interdisciplinary hospice team under the supervision of a professional nurse.

Hours are 8:00 am–4:30 pm, full-time, with eligibility for benefits.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Aide certification is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in home care and long-term care settings is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care and light housekeeping duties
• Observe, report, and document patient status and the care provided
• Provide compassionate support to patients, families and caregivers through on-going communication
• Follow basic infection control procedures
• Report changes in patient status to RN Case Manager
• Recognize emergencies and have knowledge of emergency procedures
• Maintain patient and family confidentiality
