Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Aide to provide compassionate in-home care, enabling patients to remain with their loved ones. You will join a dedicated hospice team to address each patient’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in a home setting.

The role emphasizes comfort, dignity, and quality of life for individuals at the end of life, with the opportunity to grow within a supportive, family-focused culture and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant is highly preferred.
• In states where licensure is not required, applicants must have completed a state-approved nurse aide training program AND have been continuously employed in that capacity for the previous 24 months.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort care to patients enabling them to remain at home with their loved ones.
• Work as a member of the hospice team to meet each patient’s unique physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Help patients approach their final days with joy, peace, and dignity.
