Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Aide to deliver compassionate care in the home setting, supporting patients and families with physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. You will join a team dedicated to comfort, dignity, and quality of life at every stage of the patient journey.

Qualified applicants are CNAs (preferred) with current CPR certification and license requirements met as applicable by state. Benefits include health plans, 401(k), tuition assistance, and paid time off, among others.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant highly preferred.
• In states where licensure is not required, applicants must meet one of the following: licensed/certified aide or completed a state-approved nurse aide training program with 24 months of continuous employment.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort care to patients enabling them to remain at home with their loved ones.
• Work as a member of the hospice team to meet each patient’s unique physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Help patients approach their final days with joy, peace, and dignity.
• Enhance the quality of someone’s life every day.
