Job summary

Compassus is hiring a Hospice Aide in Arizona to provide comfort care at home, working within a hospice team to meet each patient’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. You will help patients face their final days with dignity and joy, enhancing daily quality of life for patients and families.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork with the hospice staff, and adherence to state CNA and CPR requirements as part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Arizona Nursing Aide certification/licensure required.
• Must meet state-specific requirements for nurses' aide registration if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort care to patients at home with their loved ones.
• Work as part of the hospice team to address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Help patients approach final days with joy, peace, and dignity.
• Enhance quality of life for patients on a daily basis.
