Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver personal care and homemaker services in a Hospice/Home Health setting under Safe Patient Family Centered Care. The role requires a Maine CNA certification, a valid license and BLS, with hospice certification attainable within two years.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. Must obtain 12 hours of education annually.
• License/Certifications: State of Maine Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant required. Valid Driver’s license with vehicle and liability insurance as specified by agency policy required. Hospice certification must be obtained within two years of employment. Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: Two years of experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide required.

1+ years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time)

Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full orPart timeCNA position. Bonus amount prorated forPart timehires,per diem hires are ineligible.

CurrentMaine Healthmember employees are ineligible; former MaineHealthMembersare ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

The pay range for this position is $20.27to $24.36 per hour.

Compensation for part‑time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full‑time equivalent (FTE).
