Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a part-time CNA for Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME. The role supports nursing staff by providing direct patient care under RN supervision and handling indirect care tasks as needed. Two 12-hour day shifts on unit R6 are available.

Full Time:

0-1 years of experience eligible for $2,000

1+ years of experience eligible for $4,000

Part time:

0-1 years of experience eligible for $1,250

1+ years of experience eligible for $2,500

Eligible candidates are hired into a Full or Part-time CNA position. Bonus amount prorated for Part-time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant II role assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
3. Experience: One year of relevant experience required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Certified Nursing Assistant I role.

The pay range for this position is $20.27to $24.36 per hour.
