Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking aCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to work in Acute Care at Maine Medical Center. This full-time night-shift role supports patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, performing direct and indirect nursing duties.

Eligible candidates with 0-1 years of experience can receive a sign-on bonus; 1+ years may qualify for a larger amount. MaineHealth offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment across Maine and New Hampshire.

Full Time: 0-1 years of experience eligible for $2,000 1+ years of experience eligible for $4,000

Part time: 0-1 years of experience eligible for $1,250 1+ years of experience eligible for $2,500 Eligible candidates are hired into a Full or Part-time CNA position.

Bonus amount prorated for Part-time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant - Acute Care role assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.

The pay range for this position is $20.27to $24.36 per hour.
