Job summary

Hearth Hospice is hiring a Full Time Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate team, delivering hands-on care that brings comfort and dignity to patients at the end of life. You will work with our nursing team to meet physical, emotional, and personal needs with respect, empathy, and professionalism. Schedule: Friday - Monday, 8 am - 6 pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current unencumbered CNA certification in the state.
• Minimum 1 year CNA experience in acute or long-term care; hospice experience a plus.
• CPR certification if state-mandated.
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care following the plan of care to ensure patient comfort and dignity.
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, oral hygiene, bedding, clothing, and grooming.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support to patients and families.
• Support families by sharing knowledge and guidance in caring for terminally ill loved ones.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the home and within agency and regulatory standards.
