Elara Caring is seeking an After-Hours/On Call Registered Nurse to support hospice and home health patients in the New Braunfels area. You will assess needs, monitor conditions, and collaborate with physicians to adjust plans of care.

This role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, at least one year of clinical experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Travel between patient homes is expected, with driver’s license or reliable transportation required.

Qualifications

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited Certificate, Diploma, Associates or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
• 1+ year of experience as a nurse in a clinical care setting.
• Home Health experience is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment.
• Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record, OR have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations.
• Experience in a hospice or home health environment is preferred
