Queen City Hospice in Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking a Hospice Admissions RN to guide patients and families through the start of their hospice journey, conducting pre-admission evaluations and coordinating the admission process.

The role features a 4x10-hour schedule, rotating weekends and major holidays, a supportive team, low patient caseloads, and comprehensive benefits designed to support work-life balance and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license in state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Hospice experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about hospice services with compassion and clarity.
• Obtain informed consent and initiate the admission process.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
• Current CPR certification
• Hospice experience (preferred, not required)
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
• Compassionate communication skills with patients, families, and care teams
• Understanding of quality assurance and patient care standards
