Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Hospice Admissions RN for the Kansas City metro area (MO). This role coordinates new patient admissions, conducts comprehensive assessments, and educates patients and families, partnering with the care team to ensure a smooth transition into hospice services.

The position requires RN licensure in Missouri, CPR certification, and hospice experience. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential for travel within a 50-mile radius from the office.

Qualifications

• Two years of RN experience in a clinical care setting
• One year of full-time hospice experience
• Current Registered Nurse license valid for practice in Missouri
• Current CPR certification
• Current driver's license
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of new patient admissions
• Collaborate with patient care teams to support seamless communication and continuity of care
• Educate patients and families regarding condition, needs, and care
• Perform head-to-toe physical assessments
• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time
• Perform other duties as assigned

Hospice Admissions RN

Kansas City Metro, MO (east) | Full-Time

Territory / Work Schedule: 50-mile radius from the office, schedule Tuesday-Saturday 10am-7pm

Outstanding hospice provider seeks a full-time Admissions RN. This nurse will coordinate new patient admissions, complete comprehensive assessments, educate patients and families, and partner closely with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure a smooth transition into hospice services.

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license valid for practice in Missouri
• Current driver's license
• Current CPR certification
• Two years of Registered Nurse experience in a clinical care setting
• One year of full-time hospice experience
• Reliable transportation and valid automobile liability insurance
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities
