Description
Responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with referral sources and communities, providing education on hospice care topics, and assisting with intake to ensure timely referral coordination.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Meet admission and call volume targets
- Coordinate daily sales and marketing operations, including implementing marketing initiatives
- Build and monitor customer perceptions of ST. CROIX HOSPICE as a high-quality provider
- Document all sales activities in the CRM as per organizational requirements
- Employ marketing and promotional initiatives to meet sales projections
- Maintain knowledge of markets, including government agencies, payer groups, referral sources, and competitors
- Enhance communication flow among patients, families, caregivers, facilities, physicians, and vendors
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on hospice options and support informed decisions
- Assist in establishing organizational volume projections and resource allocations within budget
- Conduct market assessments and develop marketing plans to meet volume targets
- Coordinate marketing events, vendor fairs, and exhibits
- Support training and mentoring of Care Transition Team and new marketing staff
- Provide strategic planning leadership to identify service opportunities
- Share marketing knowledge within the organization
- Maintain awareness of community resources and assist clients accordingly
- Monitor and report on marketing cost-effectiveness

Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field
- Clinical background and hospital familiarity preferred
- Ability to deal tactfully with customers and clients
- Good communication, negotiation, and public relations skills
- Autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation in job responsibilities
