Applied Industrial Technologies, founded in 1923, is seeking a Warehouse Associate in New Orleans to assist in assembling hydraulic hoses, preparing shipments, receiving, and delivering items. You will support mechanics and maintain accurate receiving documents.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience with warehouse work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives inventory and pulls items from storage for orders.
• Loads and unloads material from trucks and other vehicles.
• Prepares bill of lading and shipping documents.
• Keeps the warehouse clean and organized.
• Resolves customer complaints and provides helpful service.
• Operates forklift and other lifting devices.
• Picks up and delivers locally as needed.
• Cleans hoses and maintains hose assemblies.
• Assembles/crimps hoses and inspects assemblies with calibrated tools.
• Prepares assembled products for shipment to customers.
• Assists in other areas as directed by management.
