Job summary

gpac is assisting a prominent nursery company in search of a Horticulture General Manager Trainee. This role offers a long-term career with growth opportunities and requires willingness to travel and relocate during training across multiple locations.

After training, you may oversee a location nationwide. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Horticulture or related field with 4+ years in production, greenhouse operations, nursery supervision or sales, and demonstrate strong leadership and

Qualifications

Career-minded with a strong desire to grow into a General Manager position.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Willing to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Must be willing to travel and relocate during training and for future opportunities.
Must currently reside in the U.S. not require work sponsorship, and have a valid U.S. driver's license.

Responsibilities

Train in all areas of nursery and greenhouse operations, including production, inventory, customer service, staff supervision, and hiring and developing sales teams.
Learn best practices in plant health, irrigation, fertilization, pest management, and quality control.
Assist with scheduling, team leadership, and operational planning.
Develop the skills necessary to manage a successful nursery and greenhouse location.
