gpac is seeking a Horticulture General Manager Trainee for a prominent nursery company. This is a long-term career with growth opportunities.

During training you will work at multiple locations nationwide, learning every aspect of running greenhouse and nursery operations and preparing to oversee a location. Required is a Bachelor's degree in Horticulture or related field and 4+ years in production management, greenhouse operations, nursery supervision, or nursery sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Horticulture or related field.
• 4+ years' experience in production management, greenhouse operations, nursery supervision or nursery sales.
• Willing to travel and relocate during training and for future opportunities.
• Must reside in the U.S. and have a valid U.S. driver\'s license.

Responsibilities

• Train across nursery and greenhouse operations including production, inventory, customer service, staff supervision, and hiring and developing sales teams.
• Learn best practices in plant health, irrigation, fertilization, pest management, and quality control.
• Assist with scheduling, team leadership, and operational planning.
• Develop the skills necessary to manage a successful nursery and greenhouse location.
