Job summary

gpac, a prominent nursery company, seeks a Horticulture General Manager Trainee to join the team and train across multiple locations nationwide. The program prepares you to oversee greenhouse and nursery operations and advance into leadership roles after training.

The ideal candidate holds a horticulture degree and 4+ years in related areas, is career-minded, and is willing to relocate and travel during training and for future opportunities. Must reside in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Horticulture or a related field is required.
• 4+ years' experience in Production Management, Greenhouse Operations, Nursery Supervisor/Management, or Nursery Sales.
• Career-minded with a strong desire to grow into a General Manager position.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Willing to work in indoor and outdoor environments; willingness to travel and relocate.
• Must reside in the U.S. and have a valid U.S. driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Train in all areas of nursery and greenhouse operations.
• Learn best practices in plant health, irrigation, fertilization, pest management, and quality control.
• Assist with scheduling, team leadership, and operational planning.
• Develop the skills to manage a successful nursery and greenhouse location.
