Responsibilities

  • Perform pruning, shaping, deadheading, and thinning for health and aesthetics.
  • Diagnose plant health issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain garden beds: edging, mulching, weeding, soil conditioning, and seasonal cleanup.

This role is ideal for someone who understands plant behavior, soil conditions, proper installation techniques, and long‑term care strategies for residential and commercial properties.

Position Overview

The Horticulturalist/Gardener is responsible for performing and overseeing all horticultural tasks, including plant selection, installation, pruning, garden bed management, seasonal color programs, and ongoing landscape health. This role requires a professional who can identify plant issues, recommend solutions, and maintain landscapes to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
