Simply Miraculous Fine Gardening is seeking an experienced gardener to care for high-end residential properties in Hingham, MA. This role requires a passion for fine gardening and expertise in maintaining ornamental gardens.

Applicants should have 2–5 years of experience, strong plant knowledge, and skills in hand pruning. The position offers an hourly wage of $21-24 and runs from April to December, Monday–Thursday.

We are looking for an experienced gardener to join our team caring for high‑end residential properties in Hingham, MA. We are looking for someone who takes pride in the craft of fine gardening, and is interested in becoming a long‑term member of a growing company.

Our work focuses on plant knowledge, proper pruning technique, and the ongoing care of established ornamental gardens. This position is best suited for someone with a horticultural background and experience in fine gardening or estate‑level maintenance — not landscape construction or production‑based work.

What You'll Be Doing

• Maintaining the quality and appearance of established ornamental gardens on high‑end residential properties
• Skilled hand pruning of ornamental shrubs and trees
• Detailed perennial and ornamental garden maintenance, including deadheading, cutting back, and hand weeding
• Monitoring plant health and identifying signs of stress, pests, or disease

What We're Looking For

• 2–5 years of professional experience in fine gardening, horticulture, or high‑end residential garden maintenance
• Solid plant knowledge, including identification, seasonal care, and maintenance of ornamental plants common to New England landscapes
• Experience with proper hand pruning techniques and an understanding of seasonal timing by plant type
• Strong attention to detail and genuine pride in the quality of your work
• Dependable, professional, and a positive presence on the job
• Valid driver's license

Bonus Qualifications

• Horticulture degree, certificate, or related education
• Massachusetts pesticide applicator license
• Experience driving a truck and trailer

Salary & Benefits

$21-24/hour

The work week is Monday–Thursday from 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, and is a Seasonal Position from April–December.
