DEKALB PARK DISTRICT IL is looking for a part-time Hopkins Facility Custodian. The role includes performing various janitorial tasks across district facilities, primarily at Hopkins Park. Staff must be available for evening and weekend shifts.
The ideal candidate should have previous custodial experience, provide first aid, and adhere to safety protocols. This is a physically demanding position requiring the lifting of heavy objects in varying conditions.

Performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks in the janitorial operations of district facilities. Must be available to work nights and/or weekends on a regular basis. Hopkins Park facilities would be the primary location of work although work may be scheduled at locations throughout the district on an as-needed basis.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties, the employee periodically works near moving mechanical parts and can be exposed to wet and or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibrations. The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level can range from low to loud, depending on the activity in the facility.
