Job summary

Structural Systems in Honolulu is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead field operations across multiple sites, coordinating foremen, consultants and vendors to meet project schedules and quality standards.

You will perform quality control, enforce safety regulations, maintain a daily jobsite log, oversee turnover procedures, and preside over weekly foreman meetings. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with local travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule foremen, consultants, and vendors to meet critical path timelines.
• Perform quality control duties on ongoing work.
• Ensure foremen report to the superintendent and correct deficiencies.
• Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
• Identify non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards and issue notices.
• Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate for resolution.
• Maintain daily written log of jobsite activities.
• Supervise multiple job sites simultaneously.
• Lead weekly foreman meetings and participate in turnover meetings.
• Ensure the job site is clean and organized.
• Assist project manager with turnover procedures.
• Oversee timekeeping and cost coding.
• Plan ahead staffing and resource needs.
