Job summary

Norm Reeves Honda – The CAR Group in North Richland Hills, TX is hiring a Lube Technician on site. You’ll perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and light maintenance to keep guests on the road quickly and safely.

We seek at least 6 months of lube/express experience, a valid driver’s license, and a team-oriented attitude. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) matching, tuition reimbursement, PTO, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Full time availability and age 18+.
• 6+ months of experience as a lube/express technician.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• State Inspectors License is a plus.
• Experience from automotive school or program is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cars to guests on time and safely.
• Perform oil changes, check batteries, and top off fluids.
• Inspect brake linings and adjust if needed.
• Rotate, repair, mount, and balance tires.
• Conduct 121-point inspections and alignment checks.
• Perform minor services including software updates and wiper replacements.
• Take notes during and after inspections and keep the workspace clean.
• Collaborate with team to service vehicles efficiently.

As a Lube Technician, you’re responsible for showing our guests a super experience and getting them on the road quickly. You’ll provide light vehicle maintenance, keep a safe, neat workspace, and handle your responsibilities with honesty and integrity.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver your guests’ cars every time, on time, as promised
• Perform oil changes, check batteries, and top off fluids
• Inspect brake linings and adjust if necessary
• Rotate, repair, mount, and balance tires according to vehicle standards
• Conduct multi-point inspections (121-point inspection) and alignment checks
• Perform minor services including software updates, key programming, and windshield wiper and filter replacements
• Take detailed notes during and post-inspection
• Keep work station clean at all times
• Work with your team to prepare and service vehicles efficiently

What You’ll Need

• Full time availability. You’ll also need to be at least 18 years old
• A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• 6+ months of experience as a lube/ express technician required
• State Inspectors License a plus
• Experience at an Automotive School or Program
• Prior dealership experience a plus
• Positive team minded attitude
