Job summary

PPL is seeking a dedicated Financial Coaching professional to join the Homeownership Team in Minneapolis, MN. You will perform loan processing for second mortgages and down payment assistance, evaluating credit, income and assets to help underserved homebuyers.

This full-time role requires strong analytical skills, organizational ability, and a commitment to closing the racial wealth gap. Travel for training and events may be required, with a focus on community impact and client support.

Qualifications

• 2 years of lending experience with credit and income analysis.
• Experience teaching financial literacy to underserved populations.
• Ability to work independently in a team setting.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Possess and/or must obtain NMLS License within your first 90 days of employment.
• Collect, review, and analyze applicants’ credit, income and assets.
• Conduct individualized advising sessions with clients interested in purchasing a home.
• Utilize one-on-one coaching methods to build relationships with participants.
• Must be open to travel for training, meetings and events as needed.
• Connect participants with community agencies and resources as needed.
