BAYADA Home Health Care currently seeks Homemakers / Personal Care Caregivers to support clients in the North Shore area, including Salem, MA. This role emphasizes compassionate in-home care, with opportunities to assist with daily living activities, meal prep, and companionship in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• Have at least one year of verifiable work experience in healthcare preferred.
• Experience in home care settings is a plus.

• Perform light homemaking assistance, including help with personal laundry, meal preparation, and food shopping.
• Provide companionship to clients.
• Assist with maintaining a safe physical environment in the home.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.

Qualifications for Homemaker / Personal Care Caregivers

• Have at least one year of verifiable work experience preferably in a healthcare related field (but not required).

Job Responsibilities for Homemakers

• Perform light homemaking assistance, including help with personal laundry, meal preparation, and food shopping.
• Provide companionship
• Assist with maintenance of a safe physical environment

Job Responsibilities for Personal Care Caregivers (Post-Training)

• Activities of daily living
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance
