Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care has immediate openings for Homemakers and Personal Care Caregivers to care for clients in Lawrence, Methuen, Andover and surrounding North Shore communities. You will be valued, respected, and heard as part of our home care team.

We offer $22/hr pay, monthly paid HHA training, flexible scheduling, short commutes, paid time off, and 24/7 clinical manager support. Duties include light homemaking, companionship, safety maintenance, and daily living assistance after training.

Responsibilities

• Perform light homemaking assistance, including help with personal laundry, meal preparation, and food shopping.
• Provide companionship.
• Assist with maintenance of a safe physical environment.
• Activities of daily living (post-training).
• Range of motion / exercises (post-training).
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices (post-training).
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration (post-training).
• Home management tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making, etc. (post-training).
• Assisting with ambulation (post-training).
• Medication assistance (post-training).

Qualifications for Homemaker / Personal Care Caregivers:

• Have at least one year of verifiable work experience preferably in a healthcare related field (but not required).

Job Responsibilities for Homemakers:
