Job summary

Oakwood Heights Village is hiring a Nursing Home Homemaker with both full-time and part-time options. The role centers on delivering person-centered care, preparing meals, maintaining sanitary dining spaces, and participating in resident activities to ensure a fulfilling daily experience.

You will support nutritional goals, assist with housekeeping in dining areas, and help maintain a safe, caring home-like environment for residents in our village setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in food services required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and maintain a sanitary kitchen environment.
• Serve residents with nutritious meals and accommodate dietary needs.
• Engage residents in social activities and quality interactions.
• Assist with neighborhood activities and outings as needed.

You can help our residents meet their nutritional needs and social goals by being responsible for meal production, keeping a safe and sanitary meal preparation environment, engaging in quality interaction with our residents, and conducting activities in the neighborhood. This position also requires some light housekeeping of the resident dining area as well as meal clean-up.

Experience:

• 1 or more years in food services REQUIRED
