Job summary

Brethren Care Village in Ashland, OH is seeking a Homemaker to support residents with daily activities, meals, and a safe, clean environment. The role offers full-time or part-time options with day, evening, or night shifts in a Christian-based senior living community serving since 1972.

Qualifications

• Training in geriatrics (nursing, social work, rehabilitation or therapeutic recreation) or equivalent related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, dining).
• Provide compassionate care for residents with dementia.
• Prepare and serve meals following food safety guidelines.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry; maintain a clean home.
• Support transportation, errands, and daily routines.
• Communicate resident needs and changes with the care team.
• Follow safety procedures and assist with basic care tasks under supervision.

Full Time or Part Time | Days, Evenings or Nights

Pay: $15/hr to $16.80/hr (Based on experience)

PLUS shift differentials: +$.75/hr evenings, +$.50/hr nights, +$1/hr weekends
