Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Three or more years of experience working with people experiencing homelessness.
• Experience in crisis management/mediation and trauma-informed care.
• Experience creating spreadsheets/databases and creating reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with Metro departments, nonprofits, businesses, and community groups to link people outdoors to services.
• Assist with data entry projects and Coordinated Entry to map outdoor homelessness in Nashville.
• Provide housing navigation and fill gaps for people sleeping outside in Davidson County.
• Maintain an accurate outreach contact list and share with partners.
• Co-lead PIT count efforts and staff Homelessness Planning Council committees as needed.
• Support processes reducing harm to unsheltered individuals and encourage shelter access.
• Coordinate extreme weather responses and staffing for overflow facilities.
• Staff phone lines to improve service coordination with landlords.
